Originally from Prince Edward Island, Jackie and her family recently moved to the Clarington region. Jackie received her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University in 2009. Prior to this she graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Human Kinetics from St. Francis Xavier University.
After graduating Jackie worked in PEI gaining experience from both; private practice clinics, and the hospital setting. Her passion is working in private clinics where she enjoys getting to know her clients while getting them back on their feet.
Jackie has continued her education through various post graduate courses in manual therapy techniques including: Mulligan Concept mobilizations with movement, The Advanced Lumbo- Pelvic complex certification program, and New Advances in hip Rehabilitation. In addition, she has also completed training in McKenzie Diagnosis and Therapy of the Lumbar Spine, and the Running Clinic – New Trends in Prevention of Running Injuries. Being a runner herself, completing running analysis and treating runners is part of Jackie’s passion.
