Dr. Merepeza travelled to the Euro Championships in France as an intricate part of the Medical Team for the Albanian National Soccer Team who travelled to Euros in a toogh group with France, Switzerland, and Romania. It was the pinnacle of over a four year involvement as part of the medical team of Albanian Soccer Team. It was an very exciting time for him to be in France and travel with the team in the cities of Lens, Marseille and Lyon. The atmosphere in all the games was electric with upwards of 25 thousand Albanian fans following and supporting the team.
